Our Resident Association has actually been formed since 1989. Under the present committee it has been forging ahead since January 1999. Our association is our cornerstone upon which we are trying to rebuild our shattered community spirit. It provides a sense of belonging and a focus for bridging gaps in the community that the rebuilds and renovations alone don't succeed in. People are our priority.

We introduce ourselves by saying we are people who care about the social change that is happening in our area and have taken it onboard to try to do something about it.
You can meet us, that is, Sheila, Christine, Val, Andrina and Susan at the Resource Centre, 3-4 Bede Street, Easington Colliery, 0191 5271220 any weekday morning.
